VIBE have produced a unique rectangular shaped 6x9 car speaker. The rectangular IMPP cone has deep forms in its structure, combined with a radically designed surround suspension allowing precise lateral cone movement. A subwoofer motor structure supports the ultra stiff cone and formed suspension deliver exceptional low distortion and clean PowerBassTM. Overall size is close to a conventional 6x9 speaker but with the rectangular form providing more than 20% more surface area resulting in greater air movement and increased bass response. A perfectly matched combination of FREQUENCEY subwoofers and FLI LOADED amplifiers. A brand new concept in enclosure design - a totally acoustic friendly environment has been created for the FLI woofer - a large curved top is formed and tapered down to its base which offers a perfect acoustic channel that automatically deletes enclosure resonance. The baffle boards at each end of the enclosure are angled forming a double wedge design that offers increased pressures inside the tunnel, maximising bass output. The FLI Trap bass enclosures are a brand new concept in enclosure design, an acoustically measured enclosure meeting the exact required airspace of the FLI frequency subwoofer. Enclosure resonance is mostly removed by the perfect acoustic enclosure created by the large curved top. Angled baffle boards at each end of the enclosure form a double wedge design which amplify pressures inside the enclosure to significantly increase bass output and cone control. Further and final tuning is executed via a carefully tuned anti chuff flared port allowing the enclosure to perform ultra deep penetrating bass. Overall the new FLI TRAP enclosures offers a very compact bass system that is capable of generating tighter, deeper, bigger bass than conventional designs. The FLI Traps are trimmed in tight weave acoustic carpet, finished in FLI colours and high quality stitched branding.
